Complete guide to all features
What is Volume Radar?
Live Volume Scanner
Volume Radar continuously scans all USDT Perpetual or USDT Spot pairs on Binance and alerts you when a coin's current candle volume is significantly higher than its recent average — a strong signal of unusual market activity.
What is Relative Volume (RVOL)?
RVOL = current candle volume ÷ average volume of last N candles. An RVOL of 5x means the current candle has 5 times the normal volume — indicating a potential breakout, dump, or major news event.
How It Works
Step 1 — Configure & Start
Set your Min. RVOL, Lookback Candles, Market, and Timeframe. Click ▶ Start Scan.
Step 2 — Scanning
The scanner fetches kline data for all symbols in batches of 10 concurrent requests with rate-limit protection. Scans repeat every 30 seconds automatically.
Step 3 — Signals & Alerts
Every qualifying coin appears in the Signals Table. First-time signals trigger a voice announcement and the chart auto-loads if Auto-Chart is on. Click any row to open that coin's chart.
Best practice: Start with RVOL ≥ 5, Lookback = 10, Timeframe = 4H to catch major volume spikes without noise. Reduce RVOL to 2–3 on 1m/5m for scalping setups.
Filter Controls
Min. RVOL
Minimum Relative Volume threshold. Only coins with an RVOL equal to or above this value appear in signals. Default: 5. Range: any positive decimal (e.g. 2.5).
Lookback Candles
Number of closed candles used to compute the average volume. Default: 10. Higher values (20–50) create a longer-term baseline; lower values (5–10) react faster to recent activity.
Market
USDT Perps — Binance USDT-margined perpetual futures (~530 pairs). USDT Spot — Binance spot market USDT pairs (~400+ pairs). Switching market clears the symbol list and reloads.
Timeframe
Candle interval for both scanning and the chart. Options: 1m · 3m · 5m · 15m · 30m · 1H · 2H · 4H · 6H · 8H · 12H · 1D · 3D · 1W · 1M. Default: 4H. Changing this refreshes the chart immediately.
Action Buttons
▶ Start Scan
Fetches the full symbol list from Binance, then begins continuous scanning. Button changes to ● Scanning and pulses green while active.
■ Stop
Immediately halts the scan loop. All existing signals remain visible. You can restart without losing context.
✕ Clear
Wipes all signals from the table and resets Top RVOL / Top Coin stats. Bookmarks are preserved across clears. Voice queue is also cancelled.
Live Stats Bar
Top RVOL · Top Coin · Last Scan
Displayed in the filter bar (right side on desktop). Top RVOL shows the highest relative volume found in this session. Top Coin is the symbol with that RVOL. Last Scan is the timestamp of the most recent completed scan.

Search & Filter
Symbol Search
Type any symbol (e.g. BTC or ETH) to instantly filter the signals list. The count updates to show matched / total. Press ✕ or clear the box to reset.
Bookmark Filter
Click the bookmark icon (top-right of signals panel) to show only bookmarked signals. The badge shows the count. Bookmarks survive clears — use them to track your watchlist.
Column Sorting
Click Time, Chg%, or RVol headers to sort. Click again to reverse. Default sort is RVol descending (highest RVOL first). The active sort column is highlighted in blue with ↑ or ↓ arrow.
Tip: On small/mobile screens the table scrolls horizontally — swipe left to see all columns (Vol, Avg, Bookmark).

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the Share button send?
It sends the full live list of all current signals sorted by RVOL (highest first), the signal count, the page link, and a tagline. X and Facebook use #SYMBOL format; Telegram and WhatsApp use BASE-QUOTE format.
Why doesn't voice alert fire for every scan update?
Voice alerts only fire on the first detection of a symbol+timeframe pair per session. Re-detections update the signal data silently to avoid spam.
Can I use this on mobile?
Yes. The layout stacks vertically on mobile: chart on top, scanner below. All features work on mobile browsers.
Is data from Binance real-time?
The scanner uses Binance's public REST API. Each scan cycle fetches live kline data — the current open candle is live, not yet closed. Data is as fresh as each 30-second scan cycle.
Pro Tip: Combine the bookmark filter with search to quickly cross-reference watchlist coins against live volume spikes across multiple sessions.
